Edit with The Nest Post
Our stories are researched and written by Art, our AI reporter, but every one of them needs a person to check it. We are looking for editors who will verify line by line and who can read foreign-language forums.
Who we are looking for
Check quotes, figures and dates against the original documents and snapshots. Make sure facts, statements, analysis and opinion are labelled apart, and that anything without evidence goes under "What we don't know yet".
Read online communities in French, Ukrainian, Russian or another language, judge tone, irony and context, and check that the Chinese and English translations stay true to the original.
Work in English: edit the English stories and interface so they read like an English-language publication, not a translation.
How we work
- Remote. Drafts, source snapshots and version history live in one workflow, and every change is recorded.
- Only paragraphs you have checked are published. You can send a story back, and your reason goes into the editorial record.
- You follow our editorial policy: no paid placements, no speaking for any party or position, and conflicts of interest disclosed up front.
How to apply
- Email the address below with the subject "Editor application: " followed by the role you want.
- Include a short introduction, the languages you read and write, and the online communities or forums you know well.
- Pick one paragraph from a published story and tell us how you would check its sources, or what problem you found.
