Privacy
The Nest Post collects only the data it needs to run the website and send the newsletter, and never sells or rents it to anyone. Last updated: 2026-10-23.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see where readers come from (for example search engines or social links), so we know which stories are being read. It sets cookies in your browser and records anonymous browsing behaviour (pages, time on page, device and rough location), not your name or email. You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on; the site still works normally.
Newsletter
When you subscribe, your email address goes straight to our newsletter service, Kit (whose servers are in the United States); this website itself never handles or stores it. Your subscription is complete as soon as you submit the form; no confirmation email is sent.
- Use: only to send the The Nest Post newsletter (new stories, key points and corrections). No advertising, and it is never passed to third parties.
- Unsubscribing: every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom; one click stops all emails.
- Statistics: the newsletter service counts opens and clicks, which we use to improve the content.
Email to us
Corrections and responses sent to corrections@thenestpost.com are used only to check and reply. We never publish your name or address without your consent.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you (such as your newsletter subscription). Email corrections@thenestpost.com and we will handle it within a reasonable time.
Accounts in forum posts
The forum posts quoted in our stories are all public pages. To protect individuals, account names are partly masked, and each post links to its original thread. If you wrote a post and would like us to remove the quote, please email us.
