Parcoursup

France's university admissions platform, used since 2018 to collect and allocate students' choices. Some protesting students want it scrapped.

Parcoursup is a website set up in 2018 to register and manage the admission choices of prospective university students; in 2020 it handled nearly 936,000 students and more than 21,000 programs.

In the school-student movement of fall 2026, besides teacher shortages and run-down school buildings, some called for Parcoursup to be abolished.
