jeuxvideo.com

Jeuxvideo.com (called JV since 2021) · also jvc, JV

A French video-game website founded in 1997, now owned by Webedia. Its "Blabla 18-25 ans" board is an anonymous general chat forum that discusses far more than games.

jeuxvideo.com was founded in 1997 by Sébastien Pissavy, Jérôme Stolfo and François Claustres. It was sold to Gameloft (2000) and then to Hi-Media (2006), has belonged to the media group Webedia since 2014, and has used the brand "JV" since 2021.

The site's forums are divided into boards by age group and topic. The name "Blabla 18-25 ans" refers to ages 18 to 25; users post under anonymous accounts, mixing current affairs, politics and internet memes. This site reads the board's public threads.
