An online call to paralyse France on 10 September 2025 in protest at the 2026 budget of then prime minister François Bayrou. It is often compared with the October 2026 mobilisation.
"Bloquons tout" ("Block everything") began on social media as a call to paralyze the country on September 10, 2025, in protest at the 2026 budget proposed by then-Prime Minister François Bayrou.
According to a franceinfo compilation, authorities deployed 80,000 police officers and gendarmes that day, and officials estimated turnout at 197,000 (the CGT said nearly 250,000). By comparison, about 60,000 police were deployed on October 17, 2026, but faced 550,000 people.
